The clue is in the name of the paper
It's amazon or the tories - you choose!! Lol
I didn’t choose, you guys lost - that is me assuming you were about in the 70s and 80s - and it’s my lot and the younger ones who inherit the mess
And they gonna say the same about your lot again in twenty years eh
This generation versus generation stuff is tired shite, really. I know I joke about being old and everything, but I remember when the kids wanted change regarding the environment back when I was a kid (I was born in 1965).I didn’t choose, you guys lost - that is me assuming you were about in the 70s and 80s - and it’s my lot and the younger ones who inherit the mess

What's that got to do with the price of cheese? If the government wants to communicate with the public, then they have their own means. Getting chummy with the media is the worst possible way.
I find it neither surprising nor an issue that the government has taken out a public announcement through a daily. Think there’s more to be concerned about.
The talk of "hope" makes it more than just a plain transmission of factual information. The government is using the media as a PR organ, and that's shit on multiple levels.
the idea that we should have any faith in our mainstream media is a bit off key.
the fact we’ve got 1001 more issues going on than the independent running an ad for the government is more of a concern afaiac
Who the hell said anything about having faith in the media? I know that I didn't.
This is a thread about the shitness of the Independent. We cover topics ranging from the grave to the trivial here on Urban, so I'm not sure what your point is.
