they make it look easier than it is though - two class teams against each other like that looks different - if one of the teams was shit it wouldve been a lot clearer how well they were playing. best quality of the tournament so far IMO

Yeah in fairness the passing/holding of the ball was good and the tempo was grand for most of the game. Some quality balls being popped about. Great to see Xabi Alonso still smacking it about the park. Would of been great if his long range effort found the net.

Definitely an essence of quality simmering.

Not sure what game you lot are watching. I thought that was good entertainment... plenty of good play and chances, I was surprised at Spain being so positive tbh

I thought Spain played well especially after they were reduced to 10 with Torres coming on

Torres is horrific...great first touch, drives towards goal and then stops or takes an extra shot whereas Torres of 3 years ago would have buried it in the top corner. But then he's only on the pitch because Villa broke his leg and his absence could be the difference between Spain winning and them falling before the final, unless Del Bosque changes things and starts with Llorente.

Navas looked wasted just hugging the touchline in the second half and not coming infield. Xavi and Iniesta were outstanding, Alonso decent. Busquets was pretty anonymous.
