I still think that if you get banned off of x number of threads in a sub-forum, then you should be banned from all threads in the sub-forum.

Sadly, that doesn't work. Threads still get fucked up, not everyone will put him on ignore and FFS, why should he get away without being challenged?
I get it. Benefit of the doubt is important. Many of us came here with stupidity and naievity and worse. I certainly did. Now I come here to escape the far right and trolls, which seem to be everywhere. Don't really need to see it here.
It's been an odd and distressing year. Many of us are suffering, one way or another. I'm guessing he is tolerated to a certain degree because he provides entertainment, or a focus for ire.
Time will tell, surely.

AOC looks good and that's at least half of US politics. Her message is right on target for what ordinary Americans are missing out on. The only trouble with her is that she's not pure white skinned and that the other half of US politics.
The US has fallen to 17th. on quality of life and only the flagwaving and the brainwashing is keeping the two establishment parties in control. Trump promised to deal with that and so did Bernie in the 16 election. Trump lied and the Dem establishment hijacked Bernie in favour of the loser skanky first choice.
Now at least Joe mentions the real problem a bit but is still cautious about getting right too it because of the 'commie' accusations that will reach fever pitch. Far too many ignorant Americans still have a 'commie' living under their beds who bites of the toes of patriots.

That could be Streat and I hope it is, but when the strategy becomes irrelevant as you suggest, the Republican party will have to turn to a different strategy. They're not changing strategy even this time when it's so obvious that they must if people don't buy the 'commie' bullshit anymore.
However, that change is literally impossible under the Trump regime. They really have nothing else left for a reason to support the huge income inequality that rips off the ordinary American. Just call the Dems socialists and commies who want to steal other people's money.

Maybe 2024 won't be too early for her. Depends on whether Kamala is the real thing to change America. Joe won't and he won't be running for a second term either.
America isn't going to be willing to bite the bullet much longer. The move to socially responsible capitalism was on in 16, but Trump lied about bringing it. If Kamala isn't the real thing the people will stomp her out and look toward somebody like AOC who's for real.

As belboid posted, and I should have posted yesterday, She's 31 in October, and, yes, you have to be 35. She would just be old enough, come November 2024. But she's still way too young. Ideally, she needs a spell in the Senate, and ol' Chuck's just about ready to be put out to pasture.
