Yes this. Maybe a slight word about regret but best intentions and its time to move on now with the important business of how great he is. Then whenever the question comes up again he'll just smirk and say he has already answered the question.

I still think the police investigation thing is a dead end. If nothing else the laws were rushed through and the wording being what it is there is probably more than enough wriggle room with the whole home / place of work / public land / private land crossover.
