The apology untangles the chronology of her tweet + the ensuing row, but I still don't understand much more of it tbh. Other than being male, working class and audible in a public place, what had the scaffolders done to raise her ire so much? What was this "jarring banter"? Is the artist ready to go all in on this game of mutually assured cultural snobbery by accusing them of making racist/sexist jokes? or was it just that they were unacceptably loud, or unacceptably common, or just plain unacceptable, by her aesthetic?
