Nigel Farage

He has been shamed in to standing and stands little chance ..

"Giles Watling won the Clacton-on-Sea seat for the Conservatives with 72.3% of the vote in the 2019 General Election. Three years on, he was one of the 148 MPs who voted to remove Prime Minister Boris Johnson. Do people in the Essex resort share the views of their MP?"

More likely, he's spotted the gaping opportunity now presenting itself given the implosion of the Tories and the palpable lack of enthusiasm for Starmer. He won't be bothered if he wins the seat or not.

This is positioning for the civil war on the right that will commence on 5th July.
Yes, sitting the election out isn't a good look for that putsch.

imagine getting baited into standing for parliament again by piers fucking Morgan..

more than likely want farrage out of the way so he can suck up to trump without the competition

So, now that Falange has resumed the mantle of leadership.... and Reflux are standing in every seat.... he'll have to go to Scotland and hide in an Edinburgh pub again?

Ohhhhh, fuck me, it's just clicked that the election date means he can rehash his whole "independence day" bollocks from Brexit.

Fuck's sake...

DOH, it's obvious when you think about it or hear him speak; it's Trump. Trump gets convicted so Farage stands in the election. From this mornings interview, it's clear that Farage might be distancing himself from Trump. When asked about this, he said he would have to concentrate on the election and if elected, he would have to spend a lot of time in Westminster.
