Nick Clegg to make drug law election pledge‏

if nick clegg promised that on the lib dems' triumphant march to power all the newly elected mps would commit ritual suicide in parliament square they would romp home to such a landslide as has never previously been seen.
nah, all the floaters have gone green now, its too late for any more 'pledges'

It's a clever plot of the LDs to poach the Tories' brightest star.

Anyone who isnt blair or a mail reader knows the actual war on drugs has reached the last bunker and the sniffer dog is looking worried:facepalm:

Drugs are not a good thing but people continue to take them plan A stopped working twenty years ago you might not like plan b but its a better idea than continue as we are.
As for an explosion of drug use short of posting it through everybodys doors you couldnt get more market saturation if you tried.

nigel farage would pick up the former lib dem vote if he said in coalition he'd press for the return of the stocks and former lib dem mps to sit in them one day a week till the end of time.

I would consider voting for him again because of this. :D Drug reform is an election issue for me (I think it's also an 'indicator' for how one thinks about other things) and not many parties are offering changes - certainly not the tories, labour, or, AFAIK, the SNP here in Scotchland.

Note the again. And you never even voted for him in the first fucking place.

Yes, the indicators are clear - fuck the NHS as long as you don't get any hassle for stuff you already don't get any hassle for. Fuck society - what about me? Thatcher's fucking victory.

Cause you would, sums up your petty individualism perfectly

Nope. I don't take drugs often these days. Drug law reform is necessary for all sorts of reasons - kids getting criminal records for having a bit of weed (and then finding it hard to gain employment), the police using drugs as an excuse to disproportionately stop and search black youths, pma/pmma killing more and more people in dodgy pills...

He might be the senior fucking partner in a coalition if he promised that. Few things unite as many Britons across the political spectrum these days as does contempt for Clegg and his merry men.
