LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – A Norfolk man will spend up to three years behind bars for theft and possession of meth.
The Stanton County Sheriff’s Office said 37-year-old Zachary Price was sentenced Monday by District Judge James Kube.
At the end of the court hearing, Price gave the middle finger to the court, according to the sheriff’s office.
“I’ll pretend I didn’t see that,” Kube said.
The sheriff’s office arrested Price on two separate occasions in 2022. He was initially sentenced to probation in both cases.
But Price violated the rules, and his probation was terminated.
During that court hearing, Price was given 60 days in jail for yelling “expletive-laced profanity” at the judge, the sheriff’s office said.
