Yes, yes it is. I inherited it from my parents. What often happens is the kids get diagnosed and then the parents are like, ‘shit’ it me. But I’ve seen chaos like this so many times in friends, I only wish I’d been there to get them to seek help. Before it was too late. It’s not funny. A large % of the prison population has it, some of us drink or drug ourselves to death. Yes he’s a twat but that he really can’t stop despite consequences. Not even for his kids. That’s an ADHD trait, taking risks and not thinking about the consequences, hence why so many ADHD folks have a criminal record My best mate couldn’t stop for his kid and he’s dead now.Is ADHD really "inherited"? And even if it is, not sure if we should be attacking anyone, even Fox, because they have ADHD.
I don't mind having a pop at Fox for being a twat (and that's putting it mildly) but some of the stuff on this thread, particularly relating to his kids, is getting a bit close to the line, at least for my delicate sensibilities.
Though it’s of course doubtful that either Fox or Piper read such Tweets, they do contribute to the noise around themSorry, but i think it’s out of order to cc Piper on this in public. And it’s not as if you’d be the first to bring this to her attention. I’m sure she’s more aware than anyone of her ex’s views and behaviour
I don't know much about ADHD to be honest, and wouldn't claim to. I bet getting a diagnosis is not as easy as some folks seem to think, though (see also autism). And if you've got it, it's no joke. People say it's overdiagnosed, and it does seem to be overdiagnosed online by every Redditor and his dog who shout "Autism!" or "ADHD!" or "Neurodivergent!" in response to any unexpected behaviour, but that doesn't mean it's the qualified professionals who are doing the overdiagnosing. People like Fox need to learn that just because they don't suffer from ADHD, that doesn't mean it doesn't exist. Is ADHD really "inherited"?

What, more out of order than Fox's original tweet? For your information, I couldn't DM her and I thought she had the right to know so she could act accordingly. I agree people shouldn't bring Billie or the kids into his shenanigans when he's being a twat without it having anything to do with them, but discussing family court stuff/kids' private business/trying to make their mum look bad is something that directly affects them. I'd hope someone would warn me about his disturbing behaviour if I was in Billie's position.Sorry, but i think it’s out of order to cc Piper on this in public. You didn’t think she’d already been alerted to this? That’s a bit naive of you, I have to say. What, more out of order than Fox's original tweet? No need to talk down to me. It was a new tweet and I didn't know if anyone had or not.You didn’t think she’d already been alerted to this? That’s a bit naive of you, I have to say.
yeh, and you're right - while it's possible that there are people on it best not to assume that.No need to talk down to me. It was a new tweet and I didn't know if anyone had or not.
Didn’t intent to talk down, but it needed to be pointed out.No need to talk down to me. It was a new tweet and I didn't know if anyone had or not.
Absolutely. And that quite incredible long tweet that was posted hints at some pretty awful behaviour in addition to that which he admits to.Given Fox has already received contact from her lawyers and he refers to previous court orders, I'm sure someone directed by Piper is monitoring his tweets. For her wellbeing's sake, I hope it isn't her.
I feel very sorry for her and the kids. What a fucking burden and a mess.
speak for yourself!. Most of us manage not to be pricks and…attention seekers, ADHD or not.
It’s a fair cop.speak for yourself!
Fair cops do tend to be the exception though, rather than the rule. Truncheon happy bastards! It’s a fair cop.
He's always annoyed about something. He's professionally displeased.how annoyed do you think fox is this morning that his latest twitter attention seeking post is now being reported because of the royal photoshoot gate
OK it was a genuine question because I didn't know, so thanks for helping to alleviate some of my ignorance.Yes, yes it is. I inherited it from my parents. This is a really interesting and difficult question - how much leeway do you give to someone with mental health issues? As someone with ADHD, (only recognised when my kids were diagnosed), I’m not sure how much of an explanation it is for his behaviour. Most of us manage not to be pricks and racist attention seekers, ADHD or not.
I’ve been thinking a lot about this recently too. This is a really interesting and difficult question - how much leeway do you give to someone with mental health issues?
It's one that's close to my heart because I've an Uncle whose behaviour has meant I've had to cut him out of my life. This is incredibly sad, as he was a big part of my life as I grew up and I do still worry about him.
But he has no idea of the havoc he wreaks on anyone near to him, particularly those who try to help him, and ultimately my self-preservation instincts kicked in. It was even worse for my Mum as he's her little brother and she felt a lot of responsibility for him.
Tough one, though, isn't it? With no clear-cut answer, I'd imagine.
I don’t think Fox gets any leeway tbh - until he recognises it and deals with it he’s just a twat. Posting about your issues with your kids on Twitter is a definiteThis is a really interesting and difficult question - how much leeway do you give to someone with mental health issues?

It’s a bit shit to just abruptly stop them, not everyone gets on well with ‘just stopping.’ That’s one reason I think he’s a dick if he’s just done this. But yeah, for him, everything is about showing off to followers on Twitter.Re ADHD...it is not illegal to not give your children ADHD medication.
I work with primary aged children in a specialised setting and several parents refuse to give the children their prescription ADHD medication.
Fox is pissed that the courts have sided with his kid's mum over whether they should have the medication.
ADHD is real...and some children can be taught to regulate themselves by using sensory tools ( fidget toys, sensory sessions, walking breaks, meditation etc) but others need medication and without it they really struggle to process what is happening to and around them.
Scrolling back through the thread to try and figure out what the fuck is going on this time, but in the end just giving up
MH issues can be a reason/explanation to certain behaviours, but not an excuse for them. This is a really interesting and difficult question - how much leeway do you give to someone with mental health issues?
