Justifications for the abolition of the Monarchy in the UK

I should be Lord Protector for life. I'd do it for £650,000 a year, Sandringham, a 5 bed apartment in Clarence House and all the swans I can eat.

I'd not want my head on the coins so that would save as well.

I'd be apolitical and stay above the hurly burly of Westminster ( except for Borris Johnson, he'd be on a one way boat to South Helena).

I take it that you oppose all hereditary monarchies, and will be protesting against the monarchy in all nations that have one? Not to do so would be gross hypocrisy.

May I suggest that you start with Thailand?

Thought not, you hypocritical and gutless shower. So easy to criticise someone who will not hit back, and incidentally, has done more for this nation than the whole fucking lot of you added together, and then raised to the power of 1000.

There are many countries where you can get in serious shit for talking against the monarchy, but this isn't one of them sass.
If you love violently repressive monarchies that are unmoderated by even a fig leaf of democracy why don't you fuck off to suadi arabia to live.

When you last made exactly this point, I offered to travel to Thailand and do what you're suggesting, provided you were prepared to contribute towards my airfare and other Urbs did the same.

That offer is still open.

I see no need to abolish the monarchy, I think we should uphold good Tory principles on this point and privatise them.
Or a PFI at the very least.

Workers build everything, Royalty produce nothing. They consume plenty though.

Off you go to Riyadh with your bottle of scotch and your cannabis.

Thought not, etc.

Edit: You can do your Christian duty whilst you're there and enjoy a spot of preaching with a view to picking up some converts...

no, i will not be opposing all hereditary monarchies in the nations which have one. because i can't afford to go to thailand. in addition, the abolition of the thai monarchy, whilst desirable, is the task of the thais and not the task of the british.

what has she done for the nation?

she approved the local government finance act 1988, which introduced the poll tax. that's really doing good work for the nation
