Not on the issue of disability benefits, although my wife (who's also my carer) got hassle from JC+ about attending a "work-centred interview". She phoned them and said that of course she'd be happy to come in, given that they could satisfy the following conditions:
That they provide and pay for a carer to look after me (including assisting with "bodily functions") while she attended, or
That they hold the interview in an accessible building with facilities that disability-friendly so that I could come with her, and that they paid for transport to bring us to the interview and take us home.
They apologised for having bothered her, and said there would be no further letters.
I knew they could be discretionary about these things! My friend who is a lone parent and carer is getting the same kind of hassle. So far their cretinous advice has been that she should 'get a boyfriend' or their security will be able to *take care * (ie restrain a disabled child).
