no ramekin necessary as there were no potential clashes.
the slight distance allows for a cheese only bite as well as combined. i like cheese.

I'm gonna get those Monsanto chaps to use their sorcery to engineer a potato that produces a chemical which explodes violently on contact with cheese, but which can be neutralised by baked beans. Got a few potatoes baking in the oven (dinner/lunch/something) but for (some scary unknown reason) I don't fancy beans tonight

This is what I’m having tonight with my jacket potato and cheese. It’s my second favourite filling after chilli as I’ve really gone off the cheese and beans thing, I don’t know why.

I do like cheese and beans on my jacket potatoes (butter and cheese on the potatoes, beans on the side for scooping/dipping with bits of spud), but I'd honestly rather have cheese and coleslaw. Don't get me wrong, I love beans, but the setting has to be right.
