Is Elon Musk the greatest visionary or the greatest snake oil salesman of our age?

You have literally no idea what it says. You know you don’t like it because angry Americans who also don’t know what it says have told you to not like it. But you don’t know what it is.

Critical Race Theory is actually pretty mainstream in Europe, by the way, although it often goes by different names or is absorbed into wider critical models.
It's not mainstream and yes, I'm sure you're out there trying to sabotage every initiative there is with a Marxist slant.

So far every effort I've seen to make it mainstream, involves in making people pay a heavy price for merely disagreeing with it. Most people that you think agree with it, are only doing so, to keep their jobs through fear of accusations of racism if they resist.

I'm back to feeling sorry for Staker at this point, opining about Elon Musk bringing decentralisation to Twitter, hauling off about yet another topic where his reading level is zero. It's just embarrassing. I'll be back to ignoring until his inevitable final ban I think.

You keep saying things about it but you have demonstrated zero awareness of any of the things it says. You’re so wrong, in fact, that I don’t think you even know what the words of its title mean. What do you think “critical” means in this context?

Fascistic EU demanding that the heroic Musk tackle disinformation on the totally balanced twitter platform. Hoorah for the brave Musk to resist this disgusting pretend demand for accuracy.

Comment by person who posted it:

Update : Still laughing. 😂

The EU believes that it has the support of most of it's citizens when it comes to censorship.

It doesn't.

So they ban twitter. EU citizens will just take to VPN and still post on twitter.

People like to follow politicians on Twitter. They don't like to do it on platforms such as Facebook.

To be honest, I’d also like to ask you what you think “Marxism” is, but let’s just start with CRT.
This thread is about Musk. I decline to go down these off topic rabbit holes with you. I may decide to discuss this with you on a more relevant forum though.

It's not mainstream
CRT derives from a branch of social science that is literally referred to as “European social psychology”, because it is just that mainstream in Europe. It’s unremarked upon in Europe not because it isn’t mainstream, but because European scholars don’t understand what the fuss is about. CRT doesn’t say controversial, from a European theoretical perspective.

Decentralisation has to happen to beat censorship. I can only give you my low resolution top town opinion on something that is a peripheral topic. I don't understand why you think I should be banned for that. I have a fair idea what I did to get Editor to go nuclear before. So I've put up something quite diplomatic and quite true:

Both sides in the culture think that the other side are being racist for different reasons.

That's my top down low resolution assesment. There's nothing outragous in that.

Yes I'm cynical about CRT because I believe it's just a Marxist vehicle, but again. That's just a low res top down look at it and the details of it are best thrashed out in a different forum that's more appropriate.

Scott Adams should not have said what he said. I listened to it carefully on YouTube, the most charitable thing I can say, is that his language was clumbsy and ill thought out ... but then again, it's downright racist.

Musk didn't back Scott Adams, no matter how much woke media outlets like the Guardian says that he did. He critisized the media by saying the media is racist. My understanding is that Musk believes the media has double standards when it comes to race.

If you believe in Critical Race Theory, which you would if you support Marxism, you would believe that Black and White people should be treated differently, to bring about racial equity.

Those that don't believe in critical race theory, don't believe in racial equity, just equality of opportunity.

It's a divisive issue (unfortunatly) because each side thinks the other side is supporting racist (intentionally or not) for different reasons. That is what this is all really about. Not about the content of what Scott Adams has been saying.

Musk's mistake was not to critisize Scott Adams for what he said, when he complained about the media.
Oh just fuck off, fuck off further and keep fucking off until you fall into a deep body of cold water.

Ah I see. It's ok for you to go completely off topic but not anyone else.

It's a this point, I do something that has served me well on these forums. You're now trying to make this all about me. So what I do at this point. Is put you on ignore (for good) and come back in a day or two, leaving everyone else to get this back on track. Cheers,

In summary: you have absolutely no idea whatsoever what Critical Race Theory says, nor even what “Critical” means. And yet you feel free to tell us all about it. Including those of us who do actually know what it says in some depth.

What is Critical Race Theory
What is woke
And what is a Marxist vehicle?

(The latter sounds suspiciously like the Trojan horse Marty1 regaled us with regarding Biden's presidency)

Critical Race Theory, like Woke, has no definition. It means whatever the guy whose upset with minorities wants it to mean at this moment in time
No, it has a very specific definition. It’s a lengthy and complex academic theory that builds on a combination of wider Critical Theory as well as earlier analyses of the reproduction of prejudice.

No you do not need my help on that front. You're doing a splendid job of making this all about you on your own.
