Hopefully Sean 'Diddy' Combs' time is up

He's finished isn't he. Must be quite the comedown sitting in prison knowing its over after being a billionaire rapper for the last 25 years.
I don't know.
He will probably duck out of the spotlight for a good while but his lawyers and PR team will try to minimise things.
Plus his name is probably on hundreds of contracts that mean even if he isn't putting out albums he will still retire on a bed of money.
Unless he get a serious prison sentence he probably doesn't have that much to worry about.
At least that's what my cynical side thinks

He's looking at life without parole, so the money's not gonna be much use to him except for buying Twinkies from the commissary.

Might well have incorrectly searched for it.

He’s had so many names.

I posted on the thread and I can find it either.

Found it.
One the SA in the entertainment biz thread. And it did get lost in the general noise. Definitely merits its own thread,

The accusations against Combs seem monumental though. Could he really dodge them all and disappear quietly with his millions? I admit I haven't spent a lot of time looking into it all but it seems every week there's a new batch of lawsuits.

Eminem seems to call it out on the song Fuel, about 1 min 40 in.

Sorry if it's already been posted, I've only just been told about it.

With the verse :

“I’m like a R-A-P-E-R (yeah) Got so many S-As (S-As), S-As (huh) Wait, he didn’t just spell the word, “Rapper” and leave out a P, did he? (Yep) R.I.P., rest in peace, Biggie And Pac, both of y’all should be living (yep) But I ain’t tryna beef with him (nope) ‘Cause he might put a hit on me like , “Keefe D, get him” And that’s the only way you’re gonna be killing me (nah)”

I don't know much about the rap scene, but it looks as if Eminem has been calling him out for some time, along with some others.

I could see Trump pardoning him, that’s one way out.
Trump has never in his life done anything that didn't have an angle, that didn't have something in it for him. I suppose Combs might be able to bribe his way to a Trump pardon, but will he have enough money left by that point?

There must be a few Epstein 'parties' they may have attended even possibly the same ones? Would have to go one of two ways, either a pardon or an unfortunate death in prison.

I hope he does serious time. Played a major role in selling out rap too. I can't think of a bigger sell out in the scene. Absolutely no surprise that he's a grade a Chianti
For those who watch video essays on youtube you may have already come across FD Signifier - happy to say his videos are now firmly in the promoted algorithm. He does analysis of US black political issues and often rap music, from a firmly anti-capitalist/marxian view point, though that's often toned down for mass consumption, but always present. He's just done a 2 hour video on Sean Combs and after just 5 days its got 2 million views. The quality is always excellent and thoughtful.

To summarise I think he is saying that
-Combs was the first biggest exploiter and monetiser of hip-hop, taking the mogul and arch capitalist exploiter role to the highest level then achieved in the rap world and making mogul-style exploitation the new standard in the rap scene. RIP real hip-hop. He learned to do this from interning and working with majors. He saw how exploitation was done and wanted to be the exploiter.

-In no time at all exploitation of artists shifts firmly into sexual exploitation, as it is in other US entertainment industries (hollywood especially). An interesting conversation about the black historical context of this, and also agency (peoples willingness to be exploited as they'll still make a net gain), takes place

-Sexual exploitation is common for economic exploiters, and is more about power than it is about sex.

Its two hours long so theres a lot more to it than that, but this is at the heart of it.

All his videos are highly recommended.

There are numerous others from the flash cunt rap mogul era who made it clear to everyone they were also doing this, some now enjoying national treasure status. I hope they go down too. It does appear likely to be the case that the Sean Combs case blew up because of his other business dealings (warring with Diagio) - it does appear he was 'taken down' to some extent for getting out of line. And that's a reason why the powerful get away with it...there's a conspiracy of silence unless someone more powerful decides they're going to take you on. Its mafia shit.
One lone female voice is not going to be enough to touch these people

As ska invita suggests, it looks like other big players could be enmeshed in trafficking and exploitation. Jay Z has been implicated already: Woman alleging sexual assault by Jay-Z and Sean Combs admits inconsistencies in claims | Jay-Z | The Guardian
There are all sorts of claims and allegations online that I won’t credit here for risk of legal shit, but some big stars have been named both as victims and perps of sexual assault and trafficking.
Seems Corey Feldman’s claims about their being large-scale organised abuse in the entertainment industry may not be so wild after all.
