Grandma: I would rather not even respond to your current nonsense but feel something needs to be addressed. Your statement that I sent Panda an "abusive PM" is absolute nonsense. Number one, if I sent a PM to Panda you would not have seen it. Number two, Panda claims to have erased it so he could not have reproduced it for your viewing pleasure either. Ergo, you have no idea if I even PMed him let alone did so abusively. However, I will be happy to set the facts straight, yet again. I would never call ANY poster, including you, "scum." It is not the way I am in real life and certainly not online.
Unlike some here I post under my real name. I post all my particulars including all addresses except my Israeli address out of respect for my children still at home there. I post all my military info, all my employment info, all my business info, and all personal details of my life. Ergo, to sit around sending abusive nonsense, if I even had that inclination which I never do, would be counter-intuitive.

Another poster took it upon themself to contact the Israeli TV station in question. The producer in question, when I last responded to Grandma about those issues, was on trial yet another time for libeling a rabbi in Israel whom she had accused of corruption. The producer, the show, and the station have continuously been embroiled in similar scandals involving shoddy and even false reporting.
I had maintained, and still do, that the show (UVDA) had doctored an audio tape of IDF communications between a CO (known to the public as Captain R., a Druse officer) and Center, and the CO and subs on site regarding a 13 year old "Palestinian" girl who was shot to death by soldiers and lastly by Captain R himself.
The girl, sadly, caused her own death by entering a Kill Zone and then , while carrying a medium sized satchel, running toawards an IDF position. At the same time there was an Arab male adult who also began running parallel to her and veered into the Camp on the side of the Zone. This was a pitch perfect MO of a so called "Suicide Bomber." The girl was addressed in Arabic, Hebrew, and English and ordered to stop and desist but instead of freezing or even turning around she began running faster toward the IDF position.
A soldier in an Observation Tower knocked her down with a shot and radioed in for instructions. Capt. R radioed back telling him to kill anyone who entered the zone and refused to stop. The shaken soldier said she looked to be young, perhaps even 10, and should he still shoot a person like that? Capt. R said even if the person was 3 it did not matter, if they entered a Zone they were to be taken down if they refused orders. He of course was not speaking literally but using , I think in English it is called "Comparative Speech" but could be wrong. He was being sarcastic to prove a point.
The Captain then approached the prone girl cautiously and emptied his piece into her prone body as Confrimation. Now, this obviously will seem very harsh to a foreinger or someone who has never been in combat but then they do not face teenaged girls who are "Suicide Bombers," do they? Sadly, in Israel we do have to face that and even more sadly, this particular girl matched the MO perfectly. Had they waited to ascertain her actual motive they could have all died and when it comes to one's own life it is far better to err on the side of safety.
Channel 2, UVDA, and the female producer of the segment on UVDA were accused in Israeli Court of doctoring both the audio tape AND providing a false printed transcript. The tape was different than the official copy obtained from Center (Southern Command) so it was clear SOMEONE had altered it heavily.
All 3 of the afore mentioned parties were brought to trial and in the end UVDA and the producer were found guilty and had to pay money. This is what Grandma is so concerned about. She asked for sources (suprise) and at first I was willing to comply as I am to anyone who engages me in a civil manner. I explained to Grandma that it would have to wait as I was on Active Duty and only home for 1.5 days a week, IF that much.
I told Grandma that it would probably not happen until March, 2007 and while she was frustrated and cursing, it was left at that. I ended up serving until June 30th of that year and obviously was not able to entertain Grandma's pressing quesions , liberally spiced with expletives.
Then, in the spring she began throwing more and more curses and so I told her forget it. IF and WHEN she learned to talk civil , I would try and meet his/her expectations. Another poster got so sick of Grandma monopolising each and every thread, even threads in other forums, with curses and admonishments to me that the poster , as I said, took it upon themselves to contact Channel 2 and UVDA. I applauded the poster's initiative and suggest Grandma do the same IF Grandma actually even cared about the situation as opposed to cursing and belittling me.
DICLOSURE: TO my knowledge the other mentioned poster never received satisfacion on the issues but at least they tried rather than simply run in curcles chasing their own tail.
When I explained that I would not exert myself too much over soemone who does nothing but insult me, I was told by Grandma and a couple of others that I was trying to play the victim, etc. and that is the jist of it top to botom. IT is all juvenile and mundane and more to the point very sad that the forum would even be subjected tot hat type of nonsense.
I do not think anyone should ever be expected to please someone who does nothing but curse them and berate them. Am I that needful of validation that I would bow down to some faceless internet personality? Even alot of retarded people recognise that to get something you want you must ingratiate yourself with the person in question.
