It's funny how some of the biggest internet bunfights/ strictest moderating do not happen where you'd expect them, like current affairs & politics forums, but on forums devoted to seemly harmless subjects and hobbies.

Airliners.net is great for this. The fights between Boeing and Airbus fanboys about which aircraft is best would make a five year old child shake his head in disbelief.
