Thanks. I've pencilled in Reading. Can't remember why I didn't make it to their Reading gig last year but something came up.

Sold out so did the right thing!
Yeah, saw that earlier on FB. Thanks for the earlier warning.
(my dodgy toe is getting better. I managed to get a boot on the other day (but that was an emergency) and it should be OK by 20th). I was meant to be seeing Rabies Babies et al tonight, but had to blow that out.)

If punk is your thing, the 100 club are in the middle of their Resolution Festival. It's basically a gig per night split into 2 blocks. First bloc finished tonight but there's Weds to Sunday next week. Best thing is they are all around £15 or less:

James Holden is apparently supporting The Smile at all their shows. That's pretty exciting, though not sure how it will work at a proper sit down venue like the one I'm seeing them at.

Just bought a ticket for Roisin Murphy in Glasgow. Held off, hoping they'd open upstairs for it. Kinda surprised they're only expecting her to sell for half the O2 Academy.

Juju a psych garage band are finally back in the UK. Tickets about £10. Albums are ‘Maps & Territory’ & ‘Our Mother Was A Plant’.

Missed a blinder I'm afraid. The Anarcho punk pensioners were out in force. :D
Zounds were great. Steve Lake in a gold spangly jacket.

Got a ticket to see him in Bristol in July! Really excited as I've been listening to him for years and it's one of those gigs I usually wouldn't get around to going to.
We're off to see him at the Barbican on one of the extra dates he's put on. Wouldn't normally bother with him in album format etc, but have seen him a couple of times at the Barbican and once at the Roundhouse & brilliant all three times.

Ooh Sunn O))) touring in March and bizarrely playing Bexhill On Sea which is down the road from me.... would have been there with bells on but I'm away...
You gotta keep an eye on the de la warr pavillion cos everyone now and then there is something GREAT on.
