Hot upcoming gigs

Craven faults doing gigs in September. 9th and 10th September at Thwaite watermill. Just bagged myself a ticket.

How was this?

See Mr Faults has just announced a London show. I'm a big fan but I don't live in London so going would involve logistics. How essential is it that I go?

Just came to post this. I thought it was pretty awesome. Very intimate and a great venue, only about 100 people there I think. I've not been to the London venue...studio 9294.

I spoke to a fella who'd been to all 4 shows and said each was different...not the set but I guess with a big analogue synth there's differences in how it plays?

Danny Brown is playing a London show in December. So very tempted, but my 15yo son would never forgive me (the venue is 16+) :D

Studio 9294 is pretty nice - might have to see if I can find a bed for the night then!

At a Soup Dragons gig. But I am fashionably only here for the support band .. The Vaselines. Probably bigger off after they finish
I did that for Cud the other night. Saw a bit of Boo Radleys but cba, so went home.

I’m really looking forward to seeing Fear Factory on Saturday. I haven’t heard the new singer. But by all accounts he’s doing a very good job.

Need to get tickets to see Tesseract in Bristol next year, February too. i’m not overly familiar with their stuff but I like enough of it to make it worthwhile.

I was going to ask you how it was, I saw them in Manchester last Friday. Still fucking brilliant!

Yeah, it was great. Can't really think of another act where there's such a gap between the recorded output and the live experience. So much better live IMO. Even some of his lesser (nearly forgotten) tracks sounded amazing.

Slowdive tonight at the Troxy: Fantastic. Very young crowd as well... they seem to have won over the teens and 20s..

I had tickets but my mate bailed so I sold them and used the dosh to buy tickets for their Brighton show in Feb which is down the road. I'm now going with my teenagers instead - these days they are bigger fans than me....

This was fucking great. I missed the first support band. Started really early. three support bands. Second one from Ukraine, Ignea who I want to hear more of, and Butcher Babies. Fear Factory did a few classics. The new front man, Milo Silvestro is more than up to it.

Ghost of Atlantis were the first one. I suppose I should check them out seen as I missed them. We were in a bar next door. 6 o’clock is very early to start.

Lydia Lunch is doing a tour playing Suicide songs this week:
Mon 6th November – The Deaf Institute, Manchester
Tue 7th November – Oslo, London
Wed 8th November – The Bodega, Nottingham
Sat 11th November – Hope & Rain, Brighton
Sun 12th November – Future Yard, Birkenhead
Mon 13th November – Dareshack, Bristol

Saw her doing it a few years back and it'd be nice to see her again, but think I've probably got too much on at the moment.

Jessie Ware was just stunning in Glasgow tonight. Wouldn't have expected to like all the theatrical stuff and the bloody Cher cover, but she made a surprise appearance at the back (where I was standing) for that.. and it was great. Not sure you'll get a much better pop performer. 🤷🏻‍♂️

That was the last gig of the year for me. Got a DJ Shadow ticket for March and finger on the button to see The Smile..

Really looking forward to seeing Personal Trainer in Margate on Saturday. Haven't seen them live before, but love their records.

I have got tickets for this. I know there are a couple of others on here into Zounds.
There is an unwaged price of £8
