Regarding the heels, I have a plan. I'm taking smallish heels and sandals and a copious handbag. When entering a heel-possible area I will swiftly exchange footwear. This is one night only. It is necessary. It's also a bit of an experiment, I'll let you know how it goes

I'm feeling left out I haven't got anything wacky. I might get some flowery hair things to make up for it.

I have nothing wacky at all. I will blend into the background so spectacularly you will not notice that I am even there.
On the other hand I will (hopefully) be warm and dry and comfortable, so you may notice me by the smug look on my face.

Off the top of my head, multiple changes of clothes, hair straighteners, specially bought shampoos. There will be more cos it happened on the Endorse It thread last year too.
