Glastonbury 2009

I won't be going, now. I'm quite pleased by this, tbh. I'd like to give it one more go sometime but it's not at the top of my list any more.

oh, leaving again are you? well I'm sure you'll find events to explore wherever you are, its not just us that has festivals. Theirs might not even come with guaranteed rain!

Just hope it's not another 6 year gap before I have the privelige of spending time with you in a muddy field again mate.

*ahem*

err hello?

that would be me then. Music is a complete non event for me at glasto most years. Occasionally they have someone I've always wanted to see so I go along and they turn out to be shit live. I mostly go and see bands other people have an interest in.

hi five to that one :)

For those who are fans of Slippery Dicks (the best bar at Glastonbury), they're putting on a party down in Limehouse tonight. PM me for details

Funds dictate I'll be back a bit quicker this time.

Do enjoy talking drunken drivel with you in the mud on the rare occasions it happens, though. :)

My confusion arises from the fact that people can seriously say that of the hundreds of acts available, none of them are of any interest to them. I don't mean looking at the programme and deciding who to see based on what you know, I mean the idea that you can spend three days there and not enjoy anything at all.

If that's truly the case then you probably just like shit music tbh

This does make a lovely change from the usual panic of ticket-day :)

The last time I remember it being this easy was, well ... last year was this easy I suppose cause I didn't buy mine on ticket day but relented and decided to go several days later :D

Before that ... 2003, when I got them the day after ticket day in the last few hours before they sold out.

we're getting an error message about card details.

Don't put spaces in the card number?

If not, try phone ordering. Is likely the queue might not be too bad.

Is also likely the phones might not open for another 12 mins mind you ... It wasn't supposed to start until 9am ...

The UK ticket sales line is 0844 412 4635

The International Ticket Sales line is 0044 1159 934 183

if your card doesn't have an issue number are you l;eaving that blank? I can't work out why my card won't work. :(
