It's probably because you can buy 4 tickets at once unlike the previous years when it was two.

I don't know if other people were doing this as well, but once I had the order page open I just clicked back and started again for other people who couldn't get through.

Radio 1 says Eavis says all standard tickets are sold out now, but 15k coach tickets left.

no. apparently they're only giving the actual tickets out on the coach! all you will get delivered to your home is the coach ticket

No, you get a coach ticket and they give you your glasto ticket at the end of the journey I think so you have to travel on the coach.

^^^ great minds and all that.
 
These coaches are not cheap. I think we paid £42 each for a London return, which seemed a bit over the odds.

OMG we got through on the phone.. they only had coach tickets left.. the woman sounded v. stressed.

I was planning a SAS style midnight raid on the place... may do it anyway.
 
fuck i emptied my bulk mail and didnt think to check for a confirmation mail - does anyone else use yahoo? did it go in there? who's actually got the mail?

Hah! Now you all know how I felt when I was trying to get tickets for Take That! (And failed :( ).

People, don't give up hope - i had just lost the will to live and had torn all but one clump of my hair out while convincing myself i didn't give a flying one about going after all, when i finally got through on the website! YES! there is a god!

Ok the coach deal is a bit fascistic IMO (extra expense, set leaving times, won't give you the ticket till you're halfway through the journey - what are we, a bunch of junior school kids on a trip to Alton towers for fuck's sake?)

Still, better than nothing! Off now to have a fag while singing ding dong the witch is dead...good luck everybody and keep going, may the Daisy Force be with you...

I think so - the info's a bit confusing, it says in one place that you HAVE to go on Wednesday, and on another that there's one wednesday coach and one thursday coach...so...
 
I never got a confirmation email last time, even in my junk folder, so I'm not unduly worried.
 
I think the first 'sold out' report here was 10.55so over 100,000 ordinary tickets had been booked. At 11.17 there were still 15,000 coach tickets left. Not popular, are they?
