I'm looking forward to the festival.
Each glasto has been different but the vibe that I go for will be there as always.
This year I may even watch a band on the main stage.

Hope everyone has a good one

I'm going with pretty much the same bunch of mates that have gone for the last ten years. I really could do with a sunny one this year.

I did my first three festivals on my own, if not first four really, and had some awesome times at all of them. With mates is cool, but with some time to yourself, you can just do what you want when you want, without having to worry about anyone or anything else. Can be cool.

H'actually, I was thinking this before, and am still thinking it now. Much as I love my mates, I do go wandering on my own, my two main festival buddies are boys & it worries the life out of them!! Which is kinda nice :) but I do end up feeling compelled to find them again. Not having to worry about anyone else would be good (two of the people we were with last year had the BIGGEST row on the Sunday... :(, spoiled the whole day for everyone)

But I know myself well enough to know that I like to have people around me too.... tbh, Camp Urban sounds like it could suit me very well - if you'll have me ;)...... I don't think Im too bad to have around, bit loud sometimes but reasonably well trained :D

I camped with the urbanites in 2005. Had a great time! I've got a couple of mates going this year, so not sure whether I'll be camping with urbanites or not this year.

I'm going, our usually big group of 25+ is well down.

So far, I have me +5 going down actually with me in my bus, there will be others camping with us, but not on the usual scale!

I might take my little sisters, who are 12 and 10, so can get in for free, depending on weather and whether (my dad will let them miss a bit of school).

Giles..

I`ll be there , I `m lucky enough to get a local allocation myself but two friends who have not been before managed to get tickets with no problem by about 2.30 pm.

Jimmy Cliff in the blazing sunshine with a cider , right now I cant think of anywhere else I would rather be.

I didn't think I was til my housemate came home last night and she told me there was still tickets left.

So I'm going, yay! I will try and turn up to the urban cider bus meeting this year instead of just getting stoned and pissed on strawberry cider and forgetting like last year.

Watching Jimmy Cliff a few years ago, coming up, spliff in one hand, cider in the other, surrounded by happy faces. With him singing 'I can see clearly now...' with the sun beating down and not a cloud in the sky... a memory that will stick with me forever :D

Bring it on :D

sends a shiver down my spine , its a fucking long queue for another pint at the Cider bus though think I`ll just have a snooze instead ::cool:

I'm going :) but on my own :( as my mates didn't register.

[snip]

through an almighty cock up i ended up goign to my first festival on my own. i ended up crashing in a huge tent with a bunch of people i'd never seen before and never saw again (twas before the internet) and had a brilliant time.

Registration seems to reopen later today....

Meh, I caved in and ended up buying a ticket ... ;)

Can a mod diddle my vote? cheers ta :D

See you there - I hope! The handful of the Few and Brave who are still going anyway :)

Another way to look at it.

51% currently voting 'yes' this year
66% voted 'yes' last year.

So only a 15% reduction!

Like the stuff about ticket sales numbers, these things can be spun either way. ;)

There should be a poll option for those who said they would not go and then didn't have the strength of character to hold out! :D

I think if it rains a lot won't bother turning up. This will at least mean more mud for all of you. :)

So I was looking at the Latitude website - apparently there's no cops this year and free drugs for everyone. And a fullsize model of Stonehenge in the middle of the travellers field :)

Shit, I backed the wrong horse again :(
