Athletes were stopped 'because they were black' :

22 July 2020: “However, having seen some of the footage myself, I would say that any officer worth their salt would have stopped that car that was being driven in that manner.

“Secondly, my professional standards people have looked at it and they don’t see any misconduct."

Just what is "Damaging public trust" in the police?:

1 September 2023: Home Secretary Suella Braverman: Woke police are damaging public trust

21 September 2023:
"A policeman who punched an autistic man in the head seven times during an arrest has been jailed for 12 weeks.

Video evidence of the attack by PC Jack Williams, 27, in the back of a police van in Swansea in October 2022 was seen by Newport Magistrates Court ..."

West Yorkshire Police’s PC Cameron Lindley, who used excessive force during the restraint of a man in Bradford has been dismissed after the Independent Office for Police Conduct determined he had a case to answer for gross misconduct.

The Independent Office for Police Conduct carried out a review of West Yorkshire Police’s handling of a complaint from a man who was unhappy about the level of force used to arrest him. He alleged that an officer involved, PC Cameron Lindley, had stamped on his head.

While West Yorkshire Police determined the officer should face disciplinary proceedings for potential misconduct, which carries a maximum sanction of a final written warning, the Independent Office for Police Conduct felt that an independently-chaired panel could find his actions amounted to gross misconduct.

That is exactly what happened to PC Cameron Lindley yesterday:

I sincerely hope the CPS charges him and doesn't take the easy way on this one. People have gone to prison for stamping on a person's head, this officer should be no exception.

That's basically it. It's a protest in support of armed filth being able to kill with no comeback.
Its seems a bit going through the motions. The family viewed the body cam footage and stepped back from the protest. So possibly justified.
Any police shooting needs to be investigated. Are murder charges justified though guess we will have to wait and see.

'We want the right to shoot unarmed people dead without being charged with murder, please.' is peak Met.

The charge of murder brought against the currently anonymous Metropolitan Police officer, known only as NX121, appears to be justified to those responsible for bringing it.

The lobbying by the Metropolitan Police and the Home Secretary in ongoing criminal proceedings, presumably in an attempt to try and ensure that these proceedings cannot proceed fairly is concerning.

One law 'for them'?

it's not really one law for them, they want no laws for them

If you choose to apply to do a job where you may shoot and kill someone, accept a job where you may shoot and kill someone, train to do a job where you may shoot and kill someone, and are paid to do a job where you may shoot and kill someone, don't get all huffy teenager if after shooting and killing someone you have to justify it 🤷

I think you have eloquently laid out the issue, Mr Cinzano.

It's unconscionable to expect to just shoot someone (often a black/minority/Asian person below the age of 18) without some basic questions being asked.

You would think other professions - doctors, teachers, social workers etc. are never subject to any kind of scrutiny.

Engineers also get a lot of scrutiny, no matter the role, as HSE get involved in any incidents especially if there are fatalities. The latest one that springs to mind was the investigation into the 3 people killed when a ScotRail train was derailed due to a landslip. See also Croydon tram incident.

For firearms officers to be chucking all their toys out of the pram over this is beyond ridiculous, considering how people have been shot.

Those firearms officers handing in their tickets clearly believe they are above the law and/or have no faith in the justice system if they truly believe that their colleague did not commit murder.

Yesterday, the Metropolitan Police's former PC Daniel Humphreys of Chipstead Valley Road, Coulsdon, appeared before Westminster Magistrates’ Court charged with two counts of misconduct in public office.

Former PC Daniel Humphreys is charged with misconduct in a public office in that it is alleged that between July 4 2019 and November 21 2021, while acting as a Metropolitan Police officer, former PC Daniel Humphreys engaged in an inappropriate personal relationship with a vulnerable female who he had met while investigating an alleged domestic incident in which she was the complainant.

The second charge alleges that between July 4 2019 and November 21 2021 while acting as a Metropolitan Police officer former PC Daniel Humphreys obtained information from the Metropolitan Police Service computer systems for a non-policing purpose and shared the information with a person who was not a police officer.
