F1 2016

Possibly, but only if Alesi has dropped thirty years and changed gender.

:(
Alesi was walking with the shades and Jorda (the blond) was at the back of the Renault garage (with someone else), may be you are talking about a different time, I've got guests and keep being distracted so may have missed random celeb

Ah no.

It was two young ladies of a blonde persuasion.

They could have been the Tory leadership candidates for all I know.

CET is GMT +1.

Currently it's the same as BST.

But in summer Europe goes to CEST which is GMT +2.
It all sounds very confusing, Brazil changes time but only in some states we never change time where I live, the only difference is banks and government offices open later when the time changes in the south

But it IS summer.
Ah. I probably didn't explain that very well.

The time they call CET is always GMT +1.

As it happens, the UK is on BST, which is GMT + 1. That means BST is the same as CET.

However, Europe, being the awkward shower of horological fly-tippers they are, put their clocks forward for summer to a time they call CEST, which is GMT +2.

Clear as mud.

I can only assume that the commentators looked at their watches here in the UK and said: "You know what? That's GMT+1 hour. They must be on CET."

Little do they suspect that Europe has sneaked another hour behind their back.

So it's not CEST now then? So when do they change? It seems a bit late in the year. That what I meant when I said that it was summer.

Ah, I see.

In Europe, right now, they are using CEST.

That is, in France, Germany, etc. it is GMT +2.

(For calibration, GMT+2 is the same as BST+1. That means most of Europe is one hour ahead of the UK.)

When the clocks go back in Autumn, CEST will stop, and CET will revive. So, in Autumn Europe will go back to GMT +1.

In Autumn, British clocks will go back from BST, and return to GMT.

So in Winter this Sceptered Isle will be on GMT while Gaston, Fritz and Paolo will be one hour ahead on CET.

:) I did that without a drink.

That's not confusing?
Not in Brazil, if you are invited for a meal and the people say 8pm what they really mean is 10pm, if you have a meeting at 9am no-one will get there before 10:30am, time is very fluid here and really just means sometime in the morning, afternoon or evening :) It really pisses of people from outside South-America who tend to get to places "on time" and have to sit around for ages :)

Yep that would bug me. I'd start paying people a day or two after pay day. whenever like.
