This whole series was like a more traditional England series backwards. Normally they'd begin with a crushing defeat, and then improve. If the series had been played in the proper order we'd be celebrating them managing to keep the series level after a thrilling tenth wicket partnership managed to save the final match.

Good factlet from Cricinfo - Ashwell Prince faced a total of five deliveries from Graeme Swann in the whole series, and lost his wicket three times. Statistically, Swann has a better than even chance of dismissing Prince each delivery he bowls to him.
