couldn't find a thread on "tiny homes"
so i'll post here
A Scottish man bought an abandoned stone cottage in his village and turned it into his first tiny home over 11 months — check it out
"The floor was basically just ground and mud. There was no concrete floor," he said. "The windows were bad. The roof needed quite a lot of work."www.insider.com
I love looking at pictures and videos of Tiny Homes.Tiny homes are fascinating but when faced with the hurdles of planning permission and the sheer cost of land in the south east it’s all a bit silly to pay a couple of hundred grand for a glorified bothy.
I'd say Airbnb - I bet there's next to no storage too?Interesting though the tiny home story is it also mentions he’s planning to move onto another project so landlord scum / Airbnb host klaxons are ringing already for me
Good luck!Gentleman and Van are booked for the moving date in two weeks. Broadband being connected in two weeks and two days.
Contracts being exchanged in one week.
We are currently melting in the heatwave and dreaming of our future home which has a garden.
Still loads of packing to do. Boxes piling up high.
Wish me luck!

Our lawyer has received queries from the buyers.. he will review and contact us if he needs more information.why does this take sooooooo long?
Our shite estate agents still haven’t responded to my request for an update a week ago.It has been almost a month since the lawyer last emailed me, asking for something she never sent.
I will piss on the lawyers doorstep when this is done.
Because the solicitors don't talk to each other they are "email warriors".Our lawyer has received queries from the buyers.. he will review and contact us if he needs more information.why does this take sooooooo long?
Try asking your lawyer BUT expect to be charged for the privilege and don't hold your breath for an answer. Our lawyer has received queries from the buyers.. he will review and contact us if he needs more information.why does this take sooooooo long?
Give them time. They will turn! Our solicitors are excellent, they respond immediately to my requests by phone or email. Amazing, I know!
To be fair our solicitor isn’t bad, always responds quickly. We used him when we bought the house and he seemed more proactive then but maybe we pushed a lot more when buying 11 years ago.Our solicitors are excellent, they respond immediately to my requests by phone or email. Amazing, I know!
Not sure there’s anywhere in Lambeth with CPZ now. I have googled it and can’t tell them how much it will cost as I don’t know what type of car they have!Ah to be fair, they may not live in a CPZ currently. But yeah that one they could have easily Googled.
Self packing cat.
