You ain't seen nothing yet.

You may be right, it depends on timescale. I'm 65, my late father, who was in considerably worse nick than me at 65, made it to 84. So, assuming that I live as long as he did, if the shit hits the fan within the next 19 years, you are right. Longer than that... who knows.

If there were to be civil war in Britain, how do you see the sides forming?

At mo I'd say most likely route would be Celtic 'troubles' with Brexit as an accelerent but can see other routes. If it did go that way, Diggers should break early...Would end up as being about an existential crisis in a global reserve currency and assets relating to such....Whatever 'ideals' got it started be it/:religion/nationalism/racism/whatever them's at its core are far more likely to have vested interests in shoring up their assets than the increasing unwashed with little but a yolk of debt tying them to a system designed not to do them any favours

Scotland goes its own way. Slovenia type weak assault by UK forces. The Midlands and parts of the North go up in flames as conflict is stirred by the right and ignored by Westminster. Parts of the British army desert en masse, disgusted at their role in "pacifying" the warring sides and making sense of a hotch-potch of blood and soil English nationalists from various regions and poorly-equipped Asian militia defending their towns from fascist assault. The EU proposes a "cantonisation" of England and an arms embargo, applying the mendacious principle of equal responsibility to all sides. Scotland realises the EU is fucking useless as it deals with waves of refugees. Etc etc.

Not all bad news as there's a few estates that get taken back in the name of the people.

More to the point, who’s getting what roles in the Urban secessionist goverment and military junta?

I’ve got a suggestion for Minister for arts and culture...

I'm not sure I've got the energy for an armed uprising.

I might manage to run a rapid response tea wagon

The breakdown of English identity continues apace: How proud is your area of being English?

What is to take it's place? British identity is disappearing. Will regional identities assert themselves? Bod quoted in the link believes that giving regions in England more say in their affairs would help. No fucking kidding. Won't happen. Fuck all of you outside of London.
