No, that would be evidence of a cavalier attitude.

First sign of meltdown and the royals would be on the first flight to Toronto and all live in Meg’s apartment.

I have already witnessed very agitated and vocal arguments at work. The conclusion that if brexit doesn’t happen, the ‘rebels’ will never vote again! :)

Hang on a tick, you think we're up for fighting to keep London?

This is a future scenario where London has become an overblown parasite on the UK and then decides to pull the plug on the rest of us and go it alone which would cause an economic meltdown for those outside. Realising this us peasants decide to take up arms to not only retain London into the Union but also to finally redistribute it's wealth to the provinces it has ignored for decades.

how has london ignored the provinces for decades when so many thousands of londoners possess second homes in the country?

It's Sci-fi, I'm imagining a future scenario. Although, the unbalanced housing market in London does have detrimental effects on the provinces for service industry workers who work there but can't afford a home there. In my scenario over time those with second houses elsewhere ultimately move to them and abandon London to the evil oligarchs as they become fed up with the rising cost of their parking permits and an avocado ciabatta.

there will be signs in the streets: will work for avacado ciabatta

Not yet gonna happen. People are too rich, lazy, apathetic and greedy. But as new generations become the bulk of the population, having seen their parents hard earned taken from them with healthcare and old age, having been priced out of any kind of secure accommodation or home ownership, paying a massive loan for education that leads to a job that is just wage slavery, then maybe. Years of fairly serious unrest and lawlessness first though.

The only civil war I want to see is one against those people not civil enough to let me off the tube first.

England Prevails...

somebody's already done the models for it TGWU armed milita anyone?:D much more sensible than getting all cold and wet
WTF is this shite?

"6th March 1989: British royalist and republican forces in Northern Ireland launched a massive co-ordinated counter-attack across the province against the invading Irish Republic forces.

Under relentless air attack by Royalist Army Air Lynx helicopters and Republican Air Force Tornadoes flying out of bases in Scotland, Irish AFV's were targeted in an around the clock bombardment before Royal Irish and Ulster Defence Force troops launched a ground assault on the night of the 5th.

Shell shocked Irish Defence Force troops streamed back across the border as territory in both the east and south of Ulster was recovered by British forces."

The six counties had traditions of clandestine organization that went (indirectly) back to the 17th and 18th centuries. There's nothing like that in "real UK".

A military coup does not in itself constitute a civil war. Does Corbyn have a plan to get tanks and heavy weaponry from somewhere?

What an odd conclusion. And who are the 'rebels'?

Very odd isn’t it, the rebels being the brexiteer throng that expected us being out of the EU a week after the referendum. Maybe a bonus if they don’t vote due to sulking.
