I'm glad you made an effort with that final paragraph, it shows that you can be articulate, but you just don't bother very often. I'm a writer, fluidity of language comes naturally to me and so even when I say the most fuckwitted things I do so in a manner that people can understand.

As to the 'left' being mainly concerned with 'media friendly' internationalism, well that's largely wrong too. Not entirely wrong, as media coverage is quite important for getting a demo of any size. The fact of a sizeable muslim community in this country means certain wars are always more likely to have a 'resonance' than others. The left is far too small to create an antiwar movement out of nothing, and so it has to take up the 'media friendly' cases, for obvious reasons. To do otherwise would be to simply propagandise, which achieves...not a lot.
In fact, all the other countries are reported on and talked of by most of the left as well, but that doesn't mean that a successful campaign can be created.
And then there are all the other reasns, quite important ones. Like the fact that it is actually UK troops in Iraq. And UK made weapons killing the palestinians. Those facts are kinda important, dont you think?
