So can the orange fucker pardon himself and evade jail. I don't understand federal and state law?

IIRC he can pardon himself in federal cases, but not state cases, but I seem to remember reading somewhere he could then ask the supreme court to overturn any bad results in state courts anyway. 🤷‍♂️

Sky News calls Georgia for Trump.

They may have called that a bit too early.

Trump is leading in Georgia, but the AP still sees a path — albeit a very narrow one — for Harris to take the lead in the state. Harris is bettering Trump in the votes cast before Election Day, and there are still potentially enough of those kinds of votes left to be counted to push her ahead of the former president. The race is still too early to call.

Still can't see her winning enough overall.

ETA - That didn't last long, AP has now called it for Trump.

Apparently the vote in the Bronx for Trump has shot up from single figures to shy of 30%. There's a story to be told about which voters from black and Latino backgrounds have switched to Trump and why. A story to be told over very very long, dark nights ahead.
It’s all the bro shit. Joe Rogan, Jordan Peterson, Andrew Tate etc.

It’s been a deliberate strategy to promote this stuff over the last few years, and it creates a feedback loop where young men’s opinions become so toxic that they aren’t getting laid, which creates more misogyny and grievances to fuel the resentment.

It’s happening everywhere.

So looks like Trump will win and have a majority in both the senate and congress, total control of the Republican Party as well as a supermajority in the Supreme Court (one he will be able to solidify for many many decades when Alito and Thomas retire under his watch) and a gift of absolute immunity on top. Jesus Fucking Christ. This is nothing like a 2016 rerun, it’s orders of magnitude worse.

Even in strong Democrat states, their vote is well down, and Trump's well up, fucking hell something has gone seriously wrong with that country.
Is the actual vote number down, or just the percentage? Because the Republican campaign was to deliberately target those who don’t normally bother voting, and may well have worked. Remember they got 70 million plus last time, second highest vote level ever, just behind Biden who won.

"The Internet doesn't create social outcasts, it collects them" was a credo from the early days of the modern web. Turns out that was a lie eh

I completely agree with your conclusion. Those men, backed by who knows who, have been useful idiots for Trumpism. Made losers feel like champions. And here's the crowning of the king.

I have a gardening business, been a shit year and another garden business asked if I'd help do wreaths for florists. Was a lifeline for me over winter, then he said ' he loved Joe rogan', that's me heat or eat, and I'd rather starve than work for one one of those cunts. They're really are everywhere right now.
