Who will win?

In all that flap, I did have something open that said 'first polls close 1 hour 50'. So some eastern standard time state must have polls that close at 7 pm, with exit polls (presumably) soon after that.
Ax^ got it, upthread, 43 mins to go, first poll shortly after that.

Sneaky bastards in Indiana and Kentucky, closing early and both being in 2 different time zones!

Which state's polls close first on Election Day?

Both Indiana and Kentucky close their polls at 6 p.m. local time (note: each state is partially in both Eastern Time and Central Time), the earliest among the 50 states and the District of Columbia.

Yes, we're talking midnight UK time until the polls close, and then we'll see the exit polls on the pertinent question!

And assuming the above is correct, the link quoted upthread seems to have the 'earliest poll closing info' an hour out (top right in the link):

It's going to be Trump, by fair means or foul.

You know that, I know that. Just go to bed and come back in the morning.

(And just so we're clear - not a fan)
I think they'll be a massive PITA about it if Harris wins but I don't think they'll succeed in blocking her being sworn in. But he could still win, especially because of the fucking Electoral College.

Bear in mind of course that the West Coast is 2-3 hours behind East, so the polls will come from the East Coast states first (e.g. New York, Pennsylvania, Carolina)
