There was a story that police forces used to buy equal numbers of blue and white cars so they just swapped the doors over rather than paint them. At the end of their life they just swapped the doors back. I wonder if it's true.Thought I'd put this up from Stanley in County Durham in case any urbs fancy getting married in it

I was there on a day not too different from today. For some strange reason I was surprised at topless sunbathing on a Scottish beach when I popped up to Scotland for my Auntie's funeral about 12 years ago. A lovely beach.

The building might look impressive but it isn't. It's foreboding, grey and dominates the countryside around there. It was built by a Tory MP to piss off the locals because they kicked him out of parliament, twice. Official version is it's a monument to Nelson. This is complete bollocks. People in Carmarthen know this, even 200 years on. It's a folly. Literally.
