My garden is a bit smaller than that, behind one of those hills in the centre. But I treat all that as my garden. Get off my land.

The building might look impressive but it isn't. It's foreboding, grey and dominates the countryside around there. It was built by a Tory MP to piss off the locals because they kicked him out of parliament, twice. Official version is it's a monument to Nelson. This is complete bollocks. People in Carmarthen know this, even 200 years on. It's a folly. Literally.

There is a similar folly at Wentworth near Rotherham. Built by the Fitzwilliams descendants of the Earl of Strafford, executed for treason by a king he adored. Tories, they never learn.
