He needs to, to soak up all that crap wine

...and olive oil. :(

We're having a roast chicken, with lemon/garlic/herbs, roasted veg - aubergine/courgette/mushrooms/garlic/onion and steamed cabbage and broccoli (got lots of little bits to use up see! :D ).

And I'll either stick a bit of butternut squash in with the roast veg or just have some new potatoes...have 50 minutes to decide which.

if you drank water...and used all the things that you eat in a normal diet inside the bread....(as you seem to do)...i'm sure you would be, yeah...

I'm doing stuffed loin of pork (what I made in my cookery class this week), roast parsnips and onions, peas and new potatoes. For two people.

me fellas downstairs making lamb chops, roast spuds, braised red cabbage and some green beans.

if it's not up to scratch, i'm kicking him out :)

milesy's roasting the lamb and has prepared all the veg.

the teenager is in trouble, so she can do the washing up :D

*tanky sits back and relaxes*

Ugh. Whatever. I really don't know what on earth makes you think I eat a lot of bread. In my opinion nothing on this thread or elsewhere suggests that I eat a disproportionately large amount of bread compared to average; in fact it's quite the opposite. I eat bread about twice a week, when I can be bothered to make it that often. But if, for some strange reason, you want to believe that I eat lots of bread, carry on believing. I won't spoil your fun. :)

tonight was char sui pork (using pork fillet with char sui sauce stuff from our fab chinese shop) with noodles and stirfryed veg with hoi sin sauce

was fucking wonderful, especially the meat and all the better cos since I'm ill bees offered to cook and he did a wonderful job

Tagliatele with mushrooms in a lemon, parsley and white wine sauce. Garnished with cherry tomatoes for some reason.

Salad and mackerel pate on toast. And I know I'm not supposed to eat pate before anyone has a go at me but I made it myself so I know where it's been :p

penne with a creamy mustard, leek and bacon sauce.
fucking lush it was too (considering it was cupboard scrapings) :p

I thought the problem with pate was that theyre often made from liver which has high levels of vitamin A - mackerel pate doesnt have fishy livers in it does it?
