you can get veggie cheddar soj but as I understand it veggie parmesan is minging :D

You're right. Although apparently you can get a Twineham Grange hard cheese which is veggie and very similar to parmesan, but I've not had it.

... and chucked cottage cheese (sure that some indian food includes it)

Think you're thinking of panneer... which is a bit like cottage cheese, but a bit firmer and usually fried before it goes into the curry.

I like the way you're having a mini chat with yourself there :D

 One of my old housemates used to say he could always tell when I was in or approaching not because I had music blaring or big clumpy feet more that I would invariably be having conversations with myself or just making odd, random noises. He said it was the sound of me pootling!

Having said all that I've made it sound like I'm on the autistic spectrum. A-hem.

All I can say is that I'm looking forward to meeting you when I move into the 'hood :D

*stamps feet* I want to meet pootle too :D

 Form an orderly queue ladies! ;)

How you doin' this morning aqua?

I DID have two tuna, lime and coriander fishcakes last night but one of them had a bit of something in them that looks like the tail of a fish. I accept there may be small bones in a fishcake but this was about 2x2" of "thing"

Am writing a "digusted of Herne Hill" type letter - might get some vouchers or summat :D

Pizza for dinner tonight I reckon *thinking about dinner whilst my breakfast is being digested:rolleyes: *

better thanks, still not quite right but off to see my dr anyway so will ask wtf happened:D

tea tonight is spag bol

antipasto: thickly sliced courgettes, salt and pepper, drizzle of olive oil, baked in an oven that was hot as fuck.

first course: tagliatele with mushrooms that were cooked in olive oil that had had garlic gently cooked in it. sprinkle of parsley, black pepper, salt.

second course: fuck that. I'm stuffed.

it would be a massive effort actually.i dont have a car so i'd have to get a bus to the shopping centre to the 24 hour tesco, buy sausages, potatoes, onions, gravy, ice cream - get a bus home - all that would take me about 1.5 hours, then another 30 mins to cook everything, mash spuds etc - it would be at least 10.30pm before i'd get to sit down & eat.

trashpony, stick it on a ryanair flight - it'll be here in half an hour :D

TBH I've done missions similar to what you've described, and not got to eat until about 10pm, but it was worth it

I'm cooking a veggie curry for the first time ever, and I have to say, it's not looking the way I thought it might. Me aubergines aren't letting enough liquid out, and it's too tomatoey by far. I've just stuck a bit of water in it and added another teaspoonful of chili powder, and half tsp of garam masala. Just letting it simmer down a bit now...hopefully it will look edible at some point
