I've STILL got no appetite. This very unlike me. Last night I had a banana and a cup of tea.

I'll scour the thread a bit and see if I start salivating.

At missfran's invitation I shall be lurking suburban now that I have re-discovered the pleasures of cooking and am waiting for my free but £600's worth of new cooker to be installed.
New pots and pans next :)

Yay!

I am jealous of your new cooker & pots and pans. What makes?

x 2

:D

We lurve kitchen porn yardy, you've come to the right place. And there's never any arguments in here either. Well, HARDLY any ;) It's got a little heated on occasion over the best method of poaching eggs, and pasta bakes - right/wrong - but it's usually a haven of peace and tranquility.

And veh good for new recipes

I'm gonna shake this thread up and start posting stuff like my smash and meatballs recipe!!! I want arguments on here!!! It's all too cosy for my liking!!! :)

We are going out for a meal with friends at a chinese place in Stratford on Avon. Can't wait - only problem is that the table is booked for 8.30 and the kids will be ringing Childline way before them so I'll have to give them snacks first I think.... :hmm:

I've had a change of plan and am getting myself a chinese too....a totally unbalanced choice...wonton soup, chicken and sweetcorn soup (had to order 2 soups to take it over the tenner for delivery   ), a spring roll and salt and chilli ribs. All for me! :D Can't wait!

probably a good idea, you don't want their blood sugar to get too low

My mum's coming down for the day and bring a rolled joint of lamb with her, which we will either (hopefully) unroll and spice up a bit and bbq, or do in the oven if the weather doesn't hold out. I think I'm going to do bulghur wheat/tomato/feta/coriander and a green salad, to go with it.

She will no doubt bring cake, or more likely cakes, with her too.

Roasted chicken thighs, green salad, and I took about half a tin's worth of cannellini beans out of the freezer too, so I'm thinking of warming them, and mashing them slightly with some Encona sauce - sounds good in my head.

I think a little Encona sauce on the side might be required as well

Cor, this was realllly nice! Ridiculously simple, and tasty - I'll be having that again

Tonight I will be drunkenly making the coley with the noodies/pak choi/lime and chilli dressing for me and annierak

That sounds bloody amazing.

I went out for Nandos last night and got my appetite back, hurrah. Tonight I'm making chilli con quorn :hmm:

I'm doing a Chinese-style beef stew with mooli and egg fried rice.

I've also got a beef stock on the go with some bones I got at the market this morning.

Dunno about tonight.

Was fed a wonderful steak last night so not sure what to do tonight. Right now something light seems the order of the day but will see what the cupboards yield.
