A cheat-fest that Delia(*spit*) herself would be proud to have created: a cheese-pastry flan case from the deli, filled with a jar of ratatouille from t'farmers market, and a sprinking of parmesan. With carrots and green beans.

I had grilled chicken thighs and this amazing bastardised Nigella coleslaw. It contains cabbage (obv), carrot (obv), spring onion, celery, mayonaise, yoghurt, cider vinegar, maple syrup, walnuts and celeriac. Sounds dodgy, tastes lovely.

Pork and roast tats (with maramite ofc)

Mash, carrots, yorkshire puds and peas

Sounds well balanced but i did drink 2 pints of red wine first so I guess thats out the window?

A good restaurant doesn't do takeaways

Bit of a sweeping generalisation isn't it? You can get perfectly respectable pizza to take away in any number of places for a start. Lots of Japanese places do takeaway too...

Tonight though, I'll be rustling up crunchy fish burgers and saute potatoes with a smattering of salad.

A pizza restaurant isn't really a 'good' restaurant though is it? It's 'just' a pizza restaurant.

The only Japananese restaurant I know isn't a good one (Fujiyamas), but I take your point.

And of course it was a sweeping generalisation - it's my speciality!
