What's for tea tonight? (pt3)

Tonight we have had duck breast in honey and mustard sauce with broccolli and roast potatos. We were going to have yorkshire puddings with it but I forgot they were in and they ended up being cooked not for 6 mins but for about 35mins. They were like little discs of carbon :( :oops: The rest of the dinner was nice though. Followed by doughnuts :)

We're having homemade beefburgers in baps (actually that's not true...there's only two baps, so I've got half a pitta bread :mad: ) with salad.

The small girl's not mad keen on burgers though, so I've made her a bolognese sauce with a little of the mince, to have with some pasta.
 
roast chicken, roast tatties, brased cabbage with bacon, leeks, stuffing and home-made gravey (made from chicken stock) :cool:

i do love him indoors. i might let him stay ;)
 
Looks like chicken was the roast of the day today. :)

We had ours with roast potatoes and parsnips, broccoli, peas, carrots and green beans. With Paxo stuffing cos the little one likes it. :oops: :D And home made gravy that my friend made when she was here last week and we froze some. :)
 
My lovely boyfriend took me out for pizza :) so just a snacky tea later on, I expect. If my appetite ever comes back after Detroit City's unnecessary revelations.

Hmmm, I'm so glad I had already eaten. I was going to have a mince pie for pudding but I'm not now. :(
 
No idea... still stuffed after eating lots of tea things at gsv's little cousin's bris (that's circumcision ceremony to everyone else). Yes, it is a bit of an odd social occasion. :eek:

going to the gym with a hangover wasn't a good idea.

just ate some pate and blue cheese with bread.
a chicken madras, sag aloo on pilau rice.

still hungry...
 
Gammon, Roast potatoes and assorted roast veg with peas.
Trifle for pudding.... all cooked by my Grandpa :cool:
with cheese and crackers after :)
 
marmite and cucumber sandwhich. then a big mug of hot choc for pud, made with a mini slab of hotel chocolat orange and chilli choc, milk and marshmallows. nom nom nom:)
 
tonight was roast pork, roast spuds, roast maply parsnips, brussels, stuffing, gravy and the best crackling in the world :cool:
