I like houmous with falafels!

And if OU's never made them before, he may not want to be faffing about also making sauces. Have humous with it ;)

It's wrong I tell ye! Wrong! ;) :p

It's not really faffy... a teaspoon of tahini in a pot of natural yogurt, stir and add garlic, lemon and salt to taste... no cooking needed.

Try it with falafels! You'll never dip them in houmous again! (well you might if there's no tahini yogurt sauce around):)

I can't afford to get any more ingredients - I'm in penury til Friday - I'll give it a go with the tapenade
Cheers for the suggestions!

A dollop of natural yogurt would do the trick!
I might have been able to afford even that, but I just spent my last £1 on a packet of Quavers and some Fruit Pastilles

Big plates of linguine with a cheese (and slightly mustardy) sauce, with loads of garlicy leeks, bacon and spinach lobbed on. It was proper Monday night comfort food.

My energy levels are finally going up, thank goodness, so we had homemade chicken and leek pie with steamed carrots and broccoli. I also made some mince pies, which were totally yummy still warm from the oven.

Have you ever had a mince pie, DC? Last year I gave some to our cleaner, who's from Chile, and she was amazed to find that they didn't have meat in them. :D

Dim sum soup - with plenty of pak choi, leeks, chicken stock, and fresh coriander if I can find any round here. And noodles. Mmmmmm

Here's pics of my falafel, as requested -

I spread some harissa on them and shoved them in some bread and they were delicious. Definitely cooking them again - they're a piece of piss to make

They look lush OU.

They do indeed! Mmmm.....felafal!!!

Tonight, it shall be the large field mushrooms that I didn't eat at the weekend, grilled with lashings of garlic butter followed by beans on toast cos I want summat simple. Might just jazz up the beans a bit though with chilli....

not a clue....something creamy and chickeny going by what needs to be used up though quite what I dunno.....:)
