The old man's gone a bit mad and has started looking up "authentic" chilli recipes on the interweb and ordering fancypants dried chillies. I'm looking forward to chilli experimentation over the coming months!

I'd just leave out the tomatoes - but I reckon bacon/pancetta would work if you want to add it.

the tomatoes go lovely with it, they're all soft and yummy but if you don't like them it'll be fine without

last nite me and the girl made dinner together. she made this oven casserole with onions, chicken, italian sausage and brocolli on the side. I made the roasted potateoes with scallions and garlic cloves all drizzled with olive oil and fresh ground black pepper.

for pudding i had her

she was delish
