Well I don't agree. As long as I post about food and sex together I think its ok. If i was posting just about sex then it would be a problem...

Jesus, what a weak, not to say peculiar, argument.

How about this then?

You start your very own special thread which is about food AND sex...then you can post on it all day without troubling anyone else.

Thing is, it's not as if you haven't got anywhere else to talk about sex. We're not stopping you from telling all and sundry about your sex life. Just nicely asking you to leave it out of this particular thread out of politeness. I can avoid the Nobbin and Sobbin threads if I choose, but I don't want to have to read it here too. :)

I'm glad you're getting some, but I don't really want to hear about it when I'm discussing what to have for tea.

Mrs Phenol is ill, I'm knackered, so it's Sainsburys for a ready made lasagne and a couple of spuds to bake!!!!!
Still haven't had those bloody lobsters!!!!

last nite me and the girl made dinner together. she made this oven casserole with onions, chicken, italian sausage and brocolli on the side. I made the roasted potateoes with scallions and garlic cloves all drizzled with olive oil and fresh ground black pepper.

for pudding i had her :D

she was delish :p

that would have been so much better if you had said 'we had each other' .

Though Im pleased you are eating better. I have often thought 'how can he have sooo much left over pizza' ? .:)

To eat tonight it will be a bowl of soup. I am shortly going to be making a Tuscan bean soup so will probably have that about 5pm then about 7pm have quorn & mushroom pie, roast potatoes and mixed veg with a generous helping of gravy.

I am also going to attempt to bake some cookies BUT I have NEVER baked a successful cookie in my life. I have burnt a staggering amount though.

result!
found 2 hugemungous rump steaks in Sainsburys reduced from £3.50 to 80p!! So I'm having one of them with some fried mushrooms and chips:)

probably going over to dads tonite so I dont' know whats on the menu.....it could be anything. :)

Made the nigel slater mushroom strogonoff recipe from this weeks Observer mag, and polenta to grill - will be having it shortly :)

I forgot to have any tea tonight! I was so busy and I'm not hungry now. :(

i was at work, so i thought toast :( but then we went out, and were going to be back to late to cook so we stopped out and got cheesy burgers and chips, with fizzy pop  it was lovely
i am however, still hungry. i have just made a tesco order as i think if the money comes out tmw, i have 3 working days as grace days before i get charged on my overdraft , and i get paid fri, so will only be overdrawn for charges for 2 days  tesco order is mainly boring essentials though :(

Shepherds Pie Recipe

500g lean lamb mince
I onion
2 tablespoons tomato puree
2 tablespoons soy sauce
2 tablespoons worcestershire sauce
Teaspoon mixed herbs

Potatoes
Cheese

Put a pan of potatoes on to boil for the mash.

Brown the lamb mince, add onions and cook till soft. Add the rest of the ingredients and cook for approx 10 - 20 minutes on a low heat, adding a bit of water if necessary but you don't want it watery.

Put meat into an ovenproof dish, mash potatoes and place on top, grate cheese over and cook on gas mark 6 for about half an hour or until cheese is browned.

Serve with fresh vegetables.

Sorry, the measurements are a bit vague. It's one of those things that I do so often I can't remember the original recipe but it's lush I promise you! And ever so easy to make. :)

This makes enough to easily feed 5 or you could cook it in little dishes and freeze them.
