*drooooooooooooool*

Yes please soj :):)

tonight is a chicken kiev, with sweet potato wedges and baked beans, I have 100 cookies to bake so it has to be quick :D

Went over to my Mum's for my brother's birthday last night. Had red thai chicken curry, which was gorgeous, followed by fruit salad with lots of Cointreau and cream, which was also gorgeous.

Is it? It looks dead simple

in my book, anything that requires pre-soaking is out... as is anything that requires deep-frying....

is just one of those things that I've always perceived as being tricky!

will you post piccies please? :)

i, for a change, will be at work. therefore, it will most likely be toast, maybe a sandwhich. gosh, i can hardly wait

no idea.

cheesy, leek-y jacket spuds probably. I wrote a list for when i went food shopping but i forgot to take it and just bought a load of random veg  :(

i have a bag of carrots i have no idea what to do with :D

my son and his g/f made a lasagne yesterday which he reckons we can heat and eat tonight too.

it was rank (ssshhh!) so i'll be having a takeaway ta.

Pre-soaking? What's wrong with canned chick peas?

*shrugs*

I heard that they don't work as well for some reason... but I've never made falafel!

please post pics! :)

hmmmm, I am going to make cauliflower soup :D

OU - make sure you use the right sauce to go with falafel - houmous is wrong ;)

You need natural yogurt, mixed with tahini, garlic, tiny bit of lemon and salt... it's about the thickness of a sour cream dip and is gorgeous with falafel :)

And nowt wrong with canned chickpeas.

Oh, does it need a sauce?
I'm not sure I have any - I think I have some olive tapenade in the fridge

It doesn't need a sauce, but the sauce complements them. Not sure olive tapenade will work :D

Tahini is dead cheap, lasts for ages, and you can use it to make your own houmous too (though not to go with the falafel ;)).
