Made Madhur Jaffrey's Kadhai chicken and it was absolutely gorgeous. Chicken thighs, garlic, ginger, fresh tomatoes, chilli, natural yoghurt, coriander, bit of turmeric, cayenne and some garam masala. Only took about 30 mins.

I'm trying to work up the energy to make either a victoria sponge or London cheesecake. I'm off work and having a bit of a baking frenzy.

Last night we FINALLY had the fish curry and very fuckin jice it was too - tonight is a beef/mushroom/cider casserole with crusty dumplings and lots of veg.

last nite me & teresa went out and had drinks and appetizers consisting of portabello mushrooms crusted with something confused, shrimp in a spicy sweet & sour sauce and a big juicy crab cake....mmmmm

then i came home around midnite and ate some of her lasagna that she gave me a few weeks back. it was frozen so i had to nuke it but it was delish and i ate it in bed before dozing off to la la land

but now i'm up and should get ready for work...it's 25 degrees out
