What's for tea tonight? (pt3)

I had the carrot and lentil soup last night, which was lush.

Tonight - hmm...could be roast peps, or leek and potato soup, not sure yet

Cleaning up the vomit-laden bathroom this morning after my lasses g/f had that bug that's going round has kinda put me off thinking about food too directly at the moment *bleurgh*

The red thai roast veg curry is absolutely delicious - make it at your earliest opportunity! The sauce is fab. I put quite a lot of thai basil in and that really seemed to make it. It took longer than the 30 mins in the recipe for my veggies to roast but that wasn't any particular hardship.

The recipe says to try the sauce with pumpkin and prawn which I will no doubt be doing next week!
I almost always find that recipes have shorter cooking times than I prefer. Well, I shall deffo give that a go then, thanks Mrs Miggins :)

*awaits photoshopped pic of me and Nigella* :D

I could never meet her actually. I would just embarass myself by being unable to lift my eyes from the boobage :(

LOL! I was a bit transfixed meself.

I was hoping to get one of me standing next to her but I couldn't bring myself to ask. I don't have any soj pics to paste in myself but I'm sure some lovely Photoshop prolific would blend something into one of these snaps :D Blame Flashy if you think they're terrible. He was in charge of camera duties except for the wally trolley one. Heehee. I've just put the links so as to not disrupt the thread too much but note which folder I loaded them into!

It's me shopping trolley innit. :D But those ones the more mature ladies cart round give them that, well old duffer image, so I call mine a wally trolley even though it looks quite cool.

I can wear mine as a rucksack, sling it across my body, pick it up and carry it like an ordinary carrier bag or press a button and the handle pops up for me to trolley it round town. And mine's extra special cos it's insulated and has insulated bottle holder on either side too.

Ooo look here it is. I have the purple one. And I didn't cost me nearly as much as that.

Saves breaking your back with loads of shopping bags.

Aye and it's even better now it's called Nigella :D

I've no idea what's for tea tonight. Flashy is gonna raid the freezer for meat and have a squiz at the new Nigella for inspiration. If he can stop smiling at and about her that is :p

Tonight is pierogi - two types, one with cheese, one with potato and cabbage - not homemade unfortunately but Friday is my easy/non-cooking night - plus beetroot salad and beer!

Thay are really nice! We've had them a lot in Poland, I've tried making my own (not very successfully:( ) but discovered the other day that our little corner shops stocks them, along with quite a lot of other Polish food stuffs, so I snapped some up.

Going to have them with some beer and imagine we are back in Krakow!

The poorly, singular - it's me lass's g/f, and apparently she's only thrown up three times today, but still has the shits. mmMM. :D I left money for Dioralyte so she's on her 2nd sachet of that now:D

Funnily enough I STILL don't know what I want for tea!! I think I'm gonna have to douse meself in a bottle of red wine to get the image and noise of sickness out of me head!
