Chicken curry which I put in the slow cooker this morning. Chicken (obvs), brown lentils, squash, carrots, spinach and many spices and ting. Pretty good and also felt like a take away / treat because I didn't have to cook it at tea time

Roast squash and halloumi salad with lemon and coriander dressing and brown rice. Somehow the seitan is still not defrosted.

Turkey, sweet potato and red pepper curry with 7 chillies with basmati rice. Haven't had this for ages and it's one of my favourites.

We had a massive dim sum late lunch, with duck and pancakes and over ordered. Tonight there will be self serve leftovers of Nepalese, Lebanese and Chinese!

Just inhaled 2 baked spuds, Cauldron saussies, braised green lentils and buttered/peppered white cabbage.

Found bacon, potatoes and double cream, plus I literally just cleaned the mandoline so big thing of dauphinoise and yet more washing up. Eldest's turn today so if he doesn't get a move on he can wash that too, then roast some carrots and corn on the cob

That didn't happen lol, now tonight instead, dauphnoise potatoes, chicken thighs, carrot and swede mash and roast sweet potatoes. Made tray loads should be leftovers.

I'm heating up the last bit of my chicken cacciatore (which I did instead of chasseur in the end - very similar dishes anyway, come from the same sort of roots) with some pasta and will stir in a bit of cream cheese towards the end.
Can't wait tbh. Stomach rumbling and looking forward to a nice bit of hot comfort food!

Made a chicken curry...and threw in lots of carrots and peas and roast spuds...and had the lot with rice and sweet potato fries.
Cosy now!!

made an excellent meal last night - aubergines with a peanut butter miso sauce type thing. Tonight chilli loaded chips (bean chilli from freezer, potato wedges done in air fryer, jalapenos, vegan applewood, maybe avocado)

Chicken Kyiv, mash, veg (from M&S) dine in thingy.

We were gonna have the last of the Christmas ham fried up with onions and a veg chow mein but we’ll have that tomorrow instead.

I got a Rukmini Iyer book for Christmas so we had the Korean chicken: Korean Barbecue-Style Chicken, Peppers, Carrots and Spinach

Very nice! Also quick to prepare. Made a lightly pickled slaw with carrot, celeriac and onion, and some rice, to accompany.

Spicy chickpea wraps, chipotle mayo, lime-dressed salad. The fella's son showed me how to fold wraps really easily, wayyyy neater than I have ever managed before, so now I'm wrap-happy
