Our military culture tends to lump those things into a box marked "things military dictatorships / third world countries do." Its only our politicians, who have never actually been near the military themselves, that think its a good idea to parade around in tanks. I knew we were headed down the wrong road when GWB began using phrases like "Homeland."

It used to be an environmental expert .
Took a two-year course leading to my environmental technician. We learned that most of the environmental legislation was based on the EPA.
I'm assuming that the teachers at the college will now use the USA as an example on what not to do.

The ambassador sounds like he did exactly what he is supposed to do, give his honest opinion. The only scandal here is the leaking of such opinion. Trump should be more concerned with how his admin is seen in actuality rather than believing all those who are polite to his face.
