To ever make that happen we're going to have to find a way to take the money our of our electoral system. At the moment, you don't stand a chance unless you ally yourself with vested interests intent on doing exactly the opposite of what is good for the most people.

True, but it isn't going to happen because the people that would have to vote for change are the very people lining their pockets.
This is where a third party, one based on honesty, is required.

You're missing the point. A third party isn't going to make any headway unless and until we take the money out. They will be drowned out by the advertising that the major parties can buy.

(My working theory at the moment, is that if you make the lives of your representatives miserable enough, they'll either change the laws, or go get a real job.)
 
tbf the majority of americans Didn't vote for him he lost the majority vote its only because inbred yokels votes count more this shit got elected.

Donald Trump rejects claims he was 15 minutes late to meet Queen - and says she made him wait

Donald Trump has rejected reports that he was late to meet the Queen as "fake disgusting news", explaining that it was actually the Queen who made him wait.

The US president also dismissed claims that he overstayed his welcome during the royal encounter at Windsor Castle last month.

The comments came as Mr Trump renewed his campaign against the media at a Pennsylvania rally, during which he denounced the press for underselling his accomplishments and doubting his political rise.

"I was asked to have tea with the Queen, who is incredible by the way. Incredible," Mr Trump told the crowd.

"I was about 15 minutes early and I'm waiting with my wife and that's fine. Hey, it's the Queen, right? We can wait. But I'm a little early."

On my wish list . . .

- Flip the House and hopefully the Senate to stop the rot and block Trump regime efforts
- Ride hard to change campaign finance laws, ideally with a ceiling for every office based on area and number of voters (i.e. bigger allowance for US Senate seat, smaller one for statehouse seat - would need to be some formula to decide who gets funded - say a petition with x signatures, so party with 5 supporters doesn't get same as one with 50,000 supporters though)
- Trump out, via impeachment or in 2020. Every single fucker who enabled the regime through law breaking on trial.
- Public education and overhaul of K-12 education on civics to fix the stupid that helped get us where we are.

Lots of other stuff, but that's good for starters.

Fake News reporting, a complete fabrication, that I am concerned about the meeting my wonderful son, Donald, had in Trump Tower. This was a meeting to get information on an opponent, totally legal and done all the time in politics - and it went nowhere. I did not know about it!
