Hand on heart, I was caught up in the excitement myself at the time.
Looks like the Nunes memo might get released sometime today, even if it was written by a Trump man who we already know gave away investigation secrets to trump, Nunes altered the document AFTER the vote to release it, refused to answer questions as to who wrote it and, big one, refused to deny the White house had contributed to it.
Some people will use this as a reason to stop the investigation into Trump, maybe even sack Mueller.

I think that he'll get serious blowback from the FBI/IC if that memo gets released. Worse than the blowback that's just started (i.e. the demolishing of that FBI agent anti Trump text, by releasing the info that he was one of the people who was involved in writing the letter to Comey about Hillary's emails, or the revealing of more evidence of obstruction).

I believe Trump did attempt to get dirt on Clinton, and I believe the Russian supplied it along with as much help as they could give him but, and here's my theory, I don't think they did it to get help from Trump.
I'm working on the idea Russia (and maybe China) did this to get Trump into the white house, not to help them but to mess everything up, probably unwittingly.
I believe Trump's ego and stupidity is being used by Russia to get what they want - a massive mess in the US.
He made massive waves in the middle east, then sent a man paid by the Israelis to act as peace envoy. (Kushner just got $30 million form Menora Mivtachim).
He's totally shagged US politics
He's naffed up the US law enforcement agancies
He's in the process of destroying national monuments and opening the land up for mining
He's fucked up relationships with a whole host of countries that are now moving towards China
He's alienated the EU and most of the UK (Except some arse lickers in the tory party)
Much of South and central America are pissed off at him, especially Mexico
Canada is pissed off at him
Russia has denied everything but their bots are retweeting everything that causes problems and the Russian are releasing info that is harmful to Trump. The Russian spy agencies are not stupid so it has to e deliberate.

Yup, the Russian Government and other elite benefit from a divided, chaotic America. Messaging from their paid trolls on social media has followed exactly this strategy. Probably still stunned how easy that's been to achieve.
