What are you having for breakfast?

I don't know - you might like to eat slugs. :D

But surely oats are dead easy to cook on the day - a few minutes in the microwave and they're done. I doubt I could be organised enough to plan that far ahead.
The point IS that it is summer, and hot, too hot to eat porridge. This is like summer porridge. It's not exactly difficult anyway - I usually make 2 or 3 days worth and just stick in the fridge.

Overnight oats made with Skyr, oat milk, cocoa, dark choc chips, golden linseeds, maple syrup, vanilla essence, with blackberries.

2 cups of Columbian coffee.

I'm looking forward to a new life and different - perhaps varying habits -

In France I am likely to once again shed some of my vegan purity in exchange for the massive benefits of company....though doubtless there will often be the option of bread and jam in place of croissants....and I will be living in crepe-land....or perhaps I will learn to appreciate coffee by itself...

And I will likely have to learn to appreciate different qualities in coffee after many years with the luxury of carefully crafting my own
Hopefully I will at least find a source of beans I like ...

And if I start having visitors I will need to learn to cater for their varied tastes...

But then there's the green smoothie option..or grazing seasonal fruits in the potager...

Intuitively mixing it up is on the cards along with early morning exercise to work up a genuine appetite...
