Cor your porridge additions sound well fit!Porridge with unsweetened cocoa, a bit of vanilla, toasted hazelnuts, raspberries and banana. I've been on a porridge kick lately, yesterday was mango, orange, lime and ginger, the day before - roasted rhubarb with cardamom and rose water. Asked my partner what he thought of his breakfast. He said:
'It's same as yesterday, no?' At breakfast time his internal computer is still loading.

His reaction would piss me right off though haha. My fella is THE best person in the world to cook for, he absolutely loves my cooking, and raves about each and every meal I put in front of him
But are you confident in your cooking abilities? It sounds like you are. So am I. I know I'm a great cook, and I love what I cook, but everyone has their own ways don't they? Other people seem to put far too much sweetness into what I think should be more earthy or savoury flavours. It's one of the many reasons why I don't like eating out at pubs or restaurants - the meals are just not as good as I could cook myself. I spend the whole time moaning about every aspect of itOh that's great, love people like that. I'm the really annoying "This is great but let me give you some constructive criticism" kind of partner. I see it in my dad, it pisses me off, then I realize I'm exactly the same.

I don't think there's anything wrong in knowing you're good at something though, in summary. Perhaps if it's a mate though, the critique could be reined in a bit I have often just gulped something down that I think is shite tbh, and smiled sweetly. I've matured
